Beacon Hill Resources is committed to supporting health and safety management throughout all areas of the business.
The Group believes that each and every person is equally responsible for protecting the safety and health of themselves and their fellow workers by complying with all safety and health objectives.
The Group places the protection and welfare of all people affected by the company's activities as equal to all other business objectives.
It is also the responsibility of Beacon Hill's management to ensure that all contractors, sub-contractors and visitors to our sites understand and actively participate in and support our health and safety policies.
Beacon Hill is committed to the responsible care of its employees, contractors, and communities.
Beacon Hill recognises the need to work with authorities and communities to address important public health issues in many of the areas where the Group operates.
In this context, Beacon Hill will:
- Develop Fit-for-Work (FFW) programmes and associated support plans in consultation with its staff
- Develop and implement a comprehensive and appropriate training and awareness programmes
- Provide access to specialist or expert services where possible
- Encourage and support regular health checks for all staff
- Participate in community health programmes, and
- Monitor the health and well being of all staff in high risk areas.
Beacon Hill believes that all injuries and industry related diseases are preventable and that striving to continuously improve the safety and health of all our employees, contractors and visitors is fundamental to our business successes.

- Put safety first in everything we do
- Foster a workplace culture of trust, respect and safety awareness
- Apply uniform safety standards to every person who enters our operations
- Set measurable objectives and targets
- Monitor safety performance to promote continuous improvement through the use of Positive Performance Indicators, and
- Provide training, to ensure the principles of risk management, duty of care, fitness for work and safe working practices are understood and followed.
